Default XT12-Intelliscope question

I'm making preparations for my new scope (hasn't arrived yet).

If it's not too much trouble, would a fellow XT-12 Intel owner please
measure and post the diameter of the upper base plate? I think it I
read somewhere that it's 27", but would like to be sure. I want to have
a home for it when it gets here....

Thanks,

Errol

I thought I posted this a couple of hours ago but it's not showing up in my
newsreader. Let's try again.

Orion's website says 26 inches. I just slid a tape measure underneath my
XT-12
and it looks like 26 inches. You'd be safe figuring 27.

Joe,

I'm working on my modified hand-truck; similar to the one you built.
When I'm done, I'll post a pic or two.

Thanks for confirming the dimension.

Errol
