![]() Can someone please confirm that the SkyQuest IntelliScope with a Computized Object Locator is not capable of guiding the scope to an object but rather gives poistioning feedback to the user? Hi: That is correct--the scope does not move by itself. This is not a goto system, it's a digital setting circle system. You select the object of your choice and the Intelliscope tells you how you need to move the scope to put the object in the field. Call it a "push-to" system. ;-) Peace, Rod Mollise Author of _Choosing and Using a Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope_ Like SCTs and MCTs? Check-out sct-user, the mailing list for CAT fanciers! Correct. It's a push to, not a go to. And, of course, it does not track. Still, should be useful in finding DSOs and such. Phil |
