Default Orion Skyquest XT6, IntelliScope controller, any good?

Hi

We are thinking of getting an Orion Skyquest XT6 dob with IntelliScope
controller for our astro society, for members to borrow and take home
with them for a month.

Does anyone have any experience of this scope, e.g. portability,
optics, accuracy of the encoders.

MAny thanks for all comments.
