nightbat Toyota became the biggest car manufacture in the world because
it made better cars than GM or Ford. My son Ken,and Daughter Lore-Sue just bought Camrys for $22,000 I don't think that is very cheap, and yet they are as happy as can be,and chances are will trade them in for new ones every 6 years. Before WW2 Japan made crappy stuff, but after the war they went for quality at a lower price. No TV built in USA as phones, radios,DVD,and now no cars in the near future. First of our products to be made else where were shoes, and cloths. First Mexican labor were woman working in the LA area sewing mens shirts for about a buck an hour. Their husbands were picking strawberries for a buck an hour Total day wage was $16. I know I was there. TreBert |

TreBert We are becoming a service-based economy, which essentially means that we will all be working at McDonalds! When I was a kid, it was we who picked the strawberries. But they have outlawed a kid's right to earn a few bucks of his own by and honest day's work in the field. So now they have to bring in the Mexicans. You have heard that Congress is considering making being an undocumented alien a felony. Actually this is a good thing. The more felonies the better. We have to really build up our prison labor force if we are to ever compete against the Chinese prison labor force that is presently making the items that stock the shelves at Wal-Mart! Double-A |

Double-A If we all end up working for McDonalds we will be paid in
burgers, and not bucks. that is not all that bad. Like to see metal money done away with(except gold and silver) Plastic money is best, for it keeps your books for you. Paper money should only be ones, and fives. Credit cards should give way to debit cards. Checks are a waste of time. Microsoft knows how to do it right and being a MSN user I know that is reality. TreBert TreBert, all this new fangled plastic/computer book entry money is just a flash in the pan, and the whole house of plastic cards will be collapsing soon! Nobody knows where the real value is anymore; it's just a bunch of entries on computer disks. Now take the old silver dollars, now there's real money! They've lost none of there value over the years: no inflation. At a value of about $12 a piece at today's silver price, they will buy you about as much bread or hamburger today as they would years ago. Paper/plastic/book entry money is all just a big pyramid scheme and we have all been suckered into it! Someday all that plastic in your wallet will be worth no more than that pile of 20,000 Mark notes from 1920's Germany that I have stashed somewhere gathering dust! Double-A |

Double-A Now that I'm part of a 9 trillion dollar debt I'll die with a
smile. At Stone mountain in Atlanta Ga. I bought $5 of real confederate bucks. In Mexico I got 122 paso for a buck, but at the bar they only wanted American money. when we do away with paper money 7 11stores will be safe. Wells Fargo trucks are a waste of gas.You can buy anything any where in the world with plastic money. Trebert |
