Default Resurfacing Rate Definition

I'm looking for a nice concise definition for 'resurfacing rate', and
additionally ways to estimate it for a body such as Io.

Anyone help?

You could ask on the planetary-science NG: I'm not sure of the
name--I've only seen it in Xpostings--but try sci.astro.planetary.
