Wtd: Suppliers in Chester

I'm going shopping to Chester on Monday and was wondering is there are any
good equipment suppliers in the City. I'm after a couple of good eyepieces
and would like to inspect the build quality before parting with my cash.
I've been stung in the past by mail order suppliers selling so called
Plossls only to receive the standard Long Eye relief eyepiece one normally
gets with cheap models.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you can stand a small deviation to Crewe. Orion Optics (UK) are not
that far away. Might be an idea to ring them up first.

I don't recall any scope dealers in Chester - some decent camera shops.
(but it is a long while since I was there)

There are'nt any Astronomy shops in Chester, although as the other
poster has mentioned, there are quite a few camera shops. I live in
Chester and either go over to Stockport Binocular and Telescopes (in
Stockport !) or I use Orion Optics (near Crewe)
