Referring to my physics class and chemistry class hydrogen is consist of two
Hydrogen atom in which when mixed with one Oxygen atom creates water. Which
is the end result of the two. Therefore to get Hydrogen fuel one must
separate the two atomic structures to release the Hydrogen atom. The process
may be difficult and expensive but in the long run the refined Hydrogen fuel
can be used to power our cars and trucks with much less effort and more
mileage to the fuel. Cheap clean fuel, which will not harm the environment.
We have come to the point to do such thing. Thanks to scientific
advancements since 1960s and the landing of man on the moon in that decade.
Our future generations will be grateful of our efforts in years to come.
Let's hope that we don't end up blowing up the Earth with our weapons of
mass destruction.

you said it allready,to get hydrogen gas you have to seperate the hydrogen
from the oxigen and that cost energy, and where you think does that come
from? electricity ,and where does that electicity come from?,
fossil or nuclair fuel,
wind and solar power would'nt be enough for all out cars and trucs ,etc.,not
by far,
but indeed the air in the cities would be probably a lot cleaner, I give
you that, but the rest a bit less clean, so cheap ,no,, clean ,no,
iow. the energy you get out ,you have to put in first,

What about OTEC? Also, I read somewhere that they found a new catalyst
which makes the hydrogen much easier to extract. Perhaps it will be
easy enough to run some plants on solar and wind?

What about Wheat Fuel?

If you think of the new Danish discovery, then last night's news toned the
discovery down to something that has been known for some years by German
scientists. The problem about H2-fuel is it's volume, or the intolerably
high pressure needed to stove a reasonable amount into a container. The
discovery ties a high volume in a small pellet - so, you may be talking
about something else. I can't tell why the German discovery hasn't been
exploited.
One of the highlights about H2 is, that it gives a good support to a stabil
alternative-energy delivery as wind-generated electricity are converted to
H2 - locally we have a day/night switch in electricity import/export.
Iceland research on the problem becourse they have a surplus of thermal
energy.

It also comes in a form thats very easy to tax and control by the
government.

And where do you get the hydrogen?
It costs a tremndous amount of power to release it.
Think of it as a clean "battery".
