UFO sighting????

i saw something awesome on friday night at about 9:30pm(Indian
Standard Time).

I was seeing a film on tv.. that one of my friend enquired what that
"red and blue light emitting " thing was?.. i said to him.. shut up..
it must be some helicopter what else.!!?? he and his friends started
laughing at my comment...as they knew it was not a helicopter.... they
argued that it didnt move..and that it was "twinkling"!!.. but i had
almost been certain it was something like helicoptor..that sends
redlight for visibility coz, the light was striking... had immense
intensity.. so much that i really thought it was something in the sky
close by!!!...

i wanted to disprove my freaked out friend..as he wasnt allowing me to
see the film..with his "insane" fiction stories about UFO... SO to
keep him quite i went out to observe... TO my astonishment... i'll
tell you what i saw.." SOmething bigger than a star, much much
brighter...the most brightest star i have ever seen, was twinklingwith
immense power.. that the redlight and blue light almost strained my
eyes like a laser beam!!... was moving..though slowly"

In 4 hours.. it almost travelled 30 degrees towards the upper part of
sky.. and almost became like a normal star(almost). Then on..next day
the sky was cloudy and no stars were visible at night..so i really
couldnt make a follow up.


I have no idea what it was... and my friends are also equally
puzzled.. Though we know definitley ..that there has to be some
explanation.... MAy be a comet... a satellite.. or something(but our
logic doesnt still deduce that!!)...
