CRS-3 Scrub

In cased you missed it, yesterday's early AM SpaceX CRS-3 mission was
scrubbed because of oil "residue" found in non-pressured Dragon trunk.

Rocket was lowered and returned to maintenance facility for checkout.
Next window is March 30 with backup of April 2.

Another postponement. What SpaceX reports as a "range asset issue".
Speculation is that there was a fire at an AF radar tracking station.

Don't know if this bumps us to beyond April 2 yet. Stay tuned.

be able to support any launch operations until April 10th at the
earliest. Until then the Eastern Range is closed.

This is somewhat concerning that the Air Force tracking facilities would
not be redundant enough to handle such a failure.

I seem to recall reading a report a number of years back discussing how
underfunded the range was. And I suspect not much has changes since then.

Old news, but just in case you missed it, SpaceX CRS-3 has been
rescheduled for a new launch date of April 14 at 4:58pm EDT.

Since I am the king of old news, again in case you missed it, NROL-67
was successfully launched on an ATLAS-5 yesterday, thus clearing the way
for Space-X CRS-3 with a still pending NET launch date of April 14.
