![]() This is my posting of April 25, 1996, just to prove how long I've been giving ulcers to the sci-boys at to talk.origins, etc: ============================== Hostile reaction to my claims of having discovered human, hominid and large-animals bones (some human) in Carboniferous strata between anthracite veins is certainly nothing new. For the first 10 of the past 15 years, respectful letters of inquiry to prominent individuals in the scientific community requesting they at least have the common decency to personally examine some of the specimens had met with rejection after rejection -- some rather sarcastic. One of the swiftest and most conclusive door-slammers came from David Pilbeam, professor of anthropology at Harvard University, who responded with this curt note on May 7, 1982: Dear Mr. Conrad: Thank you for your letter. I do not think you have a fossil. I find it incredible that anyone familiar with fossils would. Any further correspondence would waste both our times. Sincerely, David Pilbeam ===================================== Because of this type of typical negative reaction from the folks whose duty is to pursue the truth, it meant searching in books and periodicals for anthropologists, etc., who seemed to be open-minded that maybe their scientific fraternity really doesn't have ALL the answers about man's origin and ancestry. One such individual appeared to be Prof. W. E. Le Gros Clark, an anthropologist with the British Museum of Natural History, based on some of the things he had written in a book that I found on a library shelf. So, in May 1982, I took a gamble and wrote to Prof. Clark at the British Museum of Natural History. But I was in for quite a surprise. C. B. Stringer, of its Department of Anthropology, responded vi a postcard: "I regret to inform you that Professor W. E. Le Gros Clark died in 1971." It should be noted that Stringer expressed no interest in investigating this matter on his own, and it appeared -- for all intents and purposes -- that the matter was dropped and would vanish from memory. However, a few years later, a reporter who intended to write a newspaper article about the strange objects I had found between coal veins contacted a Pennsylvania anthropologist (Allan Mann of the University of Pennsylvania) who, back in 1981, had given me the "royal"brushoff as well. Mann informed the newsman in a letter that he seriously questioned my mental health and, furthermore, warned him that I am to be avoided because I write letters to "dead scientists." ========================================= - Nowthen, let's quote a dead scientist to put things in proper perspective (as to why I've had so many problems trying to contribute a basic truth to my fellow man and further explaining why sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me): William James, apparently describing folks like me, undoubtedly summed up my battle against the scientific establishment rather well in one of the "Seth" books: "An odd individual certainly, often without scientific credentials, cantakerous and eccentric, yet he possesses certain assets that go unnoticed . . . he need not worry about losing face with his colleageues for, more usually than not, the poor fellow has none . . . "The gifted amateur has no rosy bubble to break and is often regarded as a fool to begin with; he can afford to dally. His livelihood is not dependent upon his success or failure and , lacking credentials, he does not fear losing what he does not possess "The gifted amateur goes blithely by, it seems, ignoring such considerations, determined to search for something he cannot define or caregorize, but something that he will intuitively recognize when he finds it. An odd individual certainly, often without scientific credentials, cantankerous and eccentric. Yet he possesses certain assets that go unnoticed." ================================================ ARSENAL OF PHYSICAL EVIDENCE THAT DESTROYS DARWIN THEORY Petrified human femur as it was discovered in coal-bearing strata in Pennsylvania's anthracite region:: http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/z8femur.jpg Petrified human femur removed from slate: http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-031S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-032S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-028S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-029S.JPG ========================================= OTHER DISCOVERIES IN CARBONIFEROUS STRATA It's Time to Burn the Anthropology Textbooks http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Smith/z11calv.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/z5gall.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/newtibia.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/skullb.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/z9lung.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/brain/MVC-001S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Newpix5/MVC-002S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Bones/MVC-006S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Tool/MVC-001S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-055S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Tool/MVC-001S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Tool/MVC-003S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Tool/MVC-005S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/1tooth.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Newpix3/z3dino.jpg http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/MVC-013F.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Petrified/MVC-012F.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Day/MVC-005S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Scorpion/MVC-001S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Scorpion/MVC-010S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/Scorpion/MVC-020S.JPG Here's a piece of petrified bone still embedded in slate. http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/S1/MVC-019S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/S1/MVC-018S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/S1/MVC-020S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/S1/MVC-021S.JPG ============================================ Petrified claw: http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen\MVC-011S.JPG Petrified egg... http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-007S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-009S.JPG http://www.edconrad.com/ebay/KeySpecimen/MVC-010S.JPG Ed Conraed http://www.edconrad.com Man as Old as Coal (maybe a whole lot older) |

From: "Ed Conrad" Newsgroups: talk.origins,sci.astro,sci.geo.geology,alt.fan.rus h-limbaugh Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 9:26 PM Subject: MESSAGE FROM BEYOND This is my posting of April 25, 1996, just to prove how long I've been giving ulcers to the sci-boys at to talk.origins, etc: ============================== Hostile reaction to my claims of having discovered human, hominid and large-animals bones (some human) ..... claimed only by yourself! In fact, not one single person-- in all of "creation" -- has ever found the things *you* have "found", right, Ed? in Carboniferous strata between anthracite veins is certainly nothing new. No more "new" than claims by other nutters to have seen/video-taped/chanelled, Bigfoot/Santa Claus/The Ghost of Christmas Past... right? For the first 10 of the past 15 years, respectful letters of inquiry to prominent individuals in the scientific community requesting they at least have the common decency to personally examine some of the specimens had met with rejection after rejection -- some rather sarcastic. Indeed. The perfectly understandable comments... "What the ****!??" and "Is this dick-head serious?!", come to mind, Ed. Sincerely, David Pilbeam Any other rational person would have taken this as a "wake-up call"... ie. that, perhaps, what you were proposing might not have been quite "up to scratch", Ed! The words "I do not think you have a fossil", and "I find it incredible that anyone familiar with fossils would..(think you have a fossil)" and ... "Any further correspondence would waste both our times.".... should have been a CLUE! ===================================== Because of this type of typical negative reaction from the folks whose duty is to pursue the truth, it meant searching in books and periodicals for anthropologists, etc., who seemed to be open-minded Hmmmmmm... for "seemed to be open-minded", read... "were suitably gullible and/or easily fooled by my pseudo-scientific "finds"... at least at the start... that maybe their scientific fraternity really doesn't have ALL the answers about man's origin and ancestry. ..... and YOU do? One such individual appeared to be Prof. W. E. Le Gros Clark, an anthropologist with the British Museum of Natural History, based on some of the things he had written in a book that I found on a library shelf. ..... of course, library shelves are a good alternative to actually getting off your fat butt and doing some serious palaeontology... right, Ed? Can you scientifically document your last find?... Well?! So, in May 1982, I took a gamble and wrote to Prof. Clark at the British Museum of Natural History. But I was in for quite a surprise. Not unexpected, I take it. C. B. Stringer, of its Department of Anthropology, responded vi a postcard: ..... a postcard? "I regret to inform you that Professor W. E. Le Gros Clark died in 1971." Are you seriously telling us that Stringer sent you a "postcard" , informing you that Prof. Clarke had died? It should be noted that Stringer expressed no interest in investigating this matter on his own, What? That Clarke had died? Was Stringer a forensic scientist working on the Clarke "murder" case? and it appeared -- for all intents and purposes -- that the matter was dropped and would vanish from memory. Perhaps Clarke died of natural causes.... However, a few years later, a reporter who intended to write a newspaper article about the strange objects I had found between coal veins contacted a Pennsylvania anthropologist (Allan Mann of the University of Pennsylvania) who, back in 1981, had given me the "royal"brushoff as well. So far, a completely rational response.... Mann informed the newsman in a letter that he seriously questioned my mental health and, furthermore, warned him that I am to be avoided because I write letters to "dead scientists." A reasonable observation... one would think! Nowthen, let's quote a dead scientist to put things in proper perspective Ummmm... Ed, that response simply *proves* Mann's point! One wonders why you mentioned it! Are you a complete imbecile? (as to why I've had so many problems trying to contribute a basic truth to my fellow man and further explaining why sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me): "... cross my heart and hope to go to heaven..." William James, apparently describing folks like me, undoubtedly summed up my battle against the scientific establishment rather well in one of the "Seth" books: ..... for "battle" read... "crusade".... for "scientific establishment" read.. "those atheist mongrel dogs who think I'm a total ****ing nutcase!... I'm NOT!... God knows!"" "An odd individual certainly, often without scientific credentials, cantakerous and eccentric, yet he possesses certain assets that go unnoticed . . . he need not worry about losing face with his colleageues for, more usually than not, the poor fellow has none . . . I really could not have described you better, Ed! Now ... let's hear how you describe yourself;- "The gifted amateur has no rosy bubble to break and is often regarded as a fool to begin with; he can afford to dally. Now, let's once once again hear how the experts describe you;- An odd individual certainly, often without scientific credentials, cantankerous and eccentric. Yet he possesses certain assets that go unnoticed." Hmmmm.... "assets that go unnoticed"..... is that "politically-correct-speak" for "the man's an ignorant prick that wastes our ****ing time?" I wonder! ================================================ ARSENAL OF PHYSICAL EVIDENCE THAT DESTROYS DARWIN THEORY Do you mean. " Weapons of mass destruction!" Like I said, Ed.....
