The symmetrical generation of oceanic crust off the Mid Atlantic Ridge
(MAR) and the orientation of the ridge itself with the Earth rotation
requires a global mechanism to explain it,as a stationary Earth
'convection cells' would be hideous for this purpose,the highest
probability is differential rotation in explaining not just the
crustal evolutionary symmetry but the largely 'S' shape of the ridge
that taper off towards the rotational poles.

Rather than a lethargic viscosity favored by the 'convection cell'
proponents,there is no reason to believe that the viscosity which
emerges through volcanic eruptions and at crustal boundaries is much
different beneath the fractured crust -

The lag/advance mechanism of differential rotation for crustal
generation off the ridge works on the principle that the shear band
moving faster than the beneath it and towards polar latitudes creates
crust in a Westward direction while the slower moving band creates
crust in the opposite direction,as that band is moving faster than the
slower one beneath it,there is a constant creation of crust in both
directions.The Romanche fracture zone at the Equator (a rotational
characteristic) is indicative of a lag/advance mechanism dividing
global hemispheres -

The geologists have not been instructed on the generalized rules
governing the rotating of viscous compositions in respect to celestial
objects and specifically differential rotation but of course ,once
differential rotation is front and center,it means discussing
latitudinal speeds.They badgered me about citations but the one which
is most relevant,the averaging process for the 24 hour day and steady
daily rotation by one of the most eminent astronomers of the 17th
century,Christian Huygens,is rejected.

You want your 366 1/4 rotations in an orbital circuit via 'sidereal
time' reasoning,something which can be disposed off in 20 minutes,and
