Dark energy may not exist in space, scientists claim - Telegraph
"“It could even mean that the expansion of the universe is slowing down
and could grind to a halt.”

A new analysis of measurements taken by NASA of Big Bang heat radiation
in 2001 showed that the heat waves may be far smaller than previously
thought.

When the measurements were first taken in 2001 the size of the ripples
in the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation led scientists to conclude
that the cosmos is made up of four percent "normal" matter, 22 percent
"dark" or invisible matter and 74 percent "dark" energy.

But scientists now claim that the waves of radiation which were
previously measured at about twice the size of the full moon may in fact
be less than half that size. "

Contemporary physical theory is a whore to grant funding. It will say
anything, do anything, and boast about it in public all to get that
next dollar. One problem with voluably lying is the universe itself.
Empirical reality is bitch goddess to us all. Lies will not sustain.

Physics' strength was being more than mathematics, was being a science
immune to falsification. Physcis is now an exercise is social
advocacy - and it will fail.

Not just radiation is half as what it was thought, but all light in
the universe
is half as bright as it should be. Distance seems to fade light and
radiation
intensity by half.

Adding: It seems scientists in the article got puzzled that radiation
readings
are half as what it should be. It was found a few years ago that all
light
in the universe is half as bright as it should be.

How do you, Yousef, compare this news article with the published
data
for dark matter distribution and the published data showing
accelerated
cosmic expansion?

What a load of HORSE****.

The ACTUAL TECHNICAL ARTICLE does not say anything like that.

http://arxiv.org/abs/0912.0524v2

Can't wait for the next stupid ****ing article that says the results
DISPROVE COSMOLOGY or something equally stupid and hyperbolic.

What does the Bullet cluster say to you?
What does the Casimir effect say to you?

Its' like squinting at a forest and saying 'there are no trees' because you
can't see them.

Don't believe everything you read in the newspaper.

The main lines of evidence for dark matter have to do with the observed
dynamics of galaxies and galaxy clusters and with measurements of mass
via gravitational lensing. The main line of evidence for dark energy
comes from observations of supernovae.

The paper being cited here says nothing about any of these. It claims,
rather, that a secondary piece of evidence, from CMB observations, has
larger error bars than is currently believed. The claim is disputed by
many people who work on the WMAP data, but even if it is true, it
hardly implies nonexistence of dark matter or dark ebergy.

There then is another explanation to why the outer galactic stars are
flowing faster in their orbits around than they ought to be.

There is no preffered scale for universal expansion. Galaxies grow and
expand. They evolve by getting larger in dimension but retaining the
same original shape. Inner star orbits get pushed outward and retain
their original shape and fast speeds.
