Default Does Dark Matter really exist

Double-ADark objects can't be seen in a black back gound. Astronomers
look for "MACHOs" while particle physists look for "WHIMPs" Best
astronomers can hope for is effects done by gravitational lensing
effects. The particle men never as yet found a "WHIMP" go figure berft

"MACHOS/Wimps" sounds like more of the Void-Space pantheon of sundry
critters, along with its host of angels, imps and Sky Pixies.. and of
course,
"eleven dimensions" (or whatever number is currently in vogue).
Whenever
their paradigm bogs down, the VS'ers have to keep "adding epicycles"
to make it work. :-) oc

Beeeert, both can he found in San Francisco. The Macho is usually on top
whereas the Whimp (actually it is a Wimp), well, just whimpers on the
bottom. To detect them you don't have to rely on gravitational lensing, just
take a stroll down Market Street wearing regular glasses and you'll be able
to identify them. They soon will be allowed to marry, thus forming the bond
of a new particle called "MachImp". Hope that clears it up for you,
Floridian.
