We need to focus our best talents and limited resources upon our
extremely nearby moon (before China beats us to it), and of our
efficiently utilizing its interactive L1 zone that's roughly 60,000 km
away from the moon and thus 60,000 km closer to Earth, and then
perhaps next in line we need to take a much closer look-see at
whatever Venus has to behold, as well as for the active and
retroactive water-boarding of those in charge of NASA's information
highway that have been systematically keeping critical science
information as taboo/hidden from public view.

You guys are the ones who participate in the sci.space.history usenet
group. You of all people have something to say to the politicians
about the calue of our spaceflight program.

Go towww.actionforspace.comandgetwhat you have wanted to say out
to someone who might make a HUGE difference in space policy.

I agree. However, our "limited resources" are limited by choice. We
need to get those resources not so limited.

Will, if you're saying those bad choices that were made by the likes
of our resident LLPOF warlord(GW Bush), as then I'd have to agree that
we've managed to blow yet another decade and trillions of our hard
earned loot along the way.

Are you suggesting there's other available trillions as spare loot
that's just sitting around?, or are you suggesting of our simply
further taking from others?

Break the starvation paradigm! Demand that the leaders give more of
your taxes atwww.actionforspace.com!

Huckabee is succeptable to input now, he has an open invitation to
meet with Florida's space coast EDC. Go towww.actionforspace.comand
demand Huckabee accept the invitation and fully fund an accelerated
moon program!

Without an increase in various taxes and user fees, there's no viable
way we're ever going to beat those smart Chinese (not even for setting
up anything within the moon's L1), that is unless we take them out by
way of a first strike. Perhaps China is into hiding its own cache of
WMD.

Is that what Huckabee is looking for? Because otherwise the necessary
hard earned loot has long been badly spent on the likes of creating
9/11 and that of sustaining our Iraq fiasco.

We could along with the help of China, Russia, Japan, India and
possibly ESA picking up a 10% share of the action, manage to establish
a fairly nifty space depot/gateway (aka Clarke Station) at our moon's
L1.
