Default Question about the Meade ETX-125

PG wrote:
Hi with the Meade ETX-125 I see on there website that they have some pretty
cool pictures of Jupiter and Saturn, and I am really excited but I would
like to know from real users how well you can see other planets such as
Neptune and Uranus and if its possible to see Pluto to any extent using the
Meade ETX-125? is there a site that has pictures of these taken with the
Meade ETX-125 or whatever you guys can tell me would be really welcomed.
also how well does the point and click software work?

Thanks,
Pete

Someone will be along shortly to give you a more informative answer I'm
sure, but you could do worse than checking out www.weasner.com. That
site has heaps of info on the ETX scopes, and there is a section on
photography from memory. Note however that photographs may (and
probably will) have been heavily processed, and will in no way give you
an indication of what you will actually see with the eye. Forget all
the beautifully colourful images you see on the boxes - it's not like
that at all!

Regards,

Mark
