The golf ball trick is well worth it.

It will help raise the public profile of the station.

And I don't really think it would be such a danger. If they shoot the
ball towards the aft, it means that they are effectively deceletating
the ball putting it in an elliptical orbit with less energy than the
station. And that means that it will lose altitude faster than the
station and not be a threath to the station.

But when was the last time a Russian was leading the PGA tour?
Maybe they should set up a putt-putt course first

lol, now that you mention it, I have a really cool design for a kite I'd
like to see an astronaut fly at the space station.

If the Cosmonaut takes a few leasons from Tiger Woods, he could probably
come close to deorbiting the golf ball in one stroke.

Seems the USGA puts a design limit on the ball of 255 ft/sec with a 144
ft/sec stroke.

www.usga.org/equipment/protocols/IV.pdf

Maybe he should get a non-USGA high velocity ball.

So, if they have more than one ball, how many stunts are they actually going
to try?I mean, an American is bound to want to do it as well. Then what
next? Baseball in space?

The key is getting 'putt-putt' into the budget, then shipping up the
drive plate, and impulse units, without anyone noticing
