Does anyone here know"?
A freind and I observed it last week with his 9.25" sct, low in the west and poor seeing. The impact site looked like a gray smudge - visible but only just. Is anyone here doing astronomy? There are some/many? posts that indicate that folks are doing astronomy. Is anyone here looking at Jupiter? This evening, I and others in our club are doing an observing event at a camp for kids with cancer, and we expect to provide some great views of Jupiter, Callisto and Ganymede, and maybe Neptune, as well as other impressive targets. Unfortunately, no transits/shadow transits happening. Dennis |
