has anyone seen any way of feeding back the
position of the focuser on a meade telescope? my scope is remotely controlled and the motorised focuser via the apm909 doesnt offer any feedback to its position. it can get confusing when your not actually there. I am working on a diy one that utilises the scrolling wheel off a mouse resting up against the focus knob going into one of those small am transmitters, and at the recieving end relating the pulses into the position. this is not very staright forward and I was wondering if there are some other ways of doing it? thanks |
