Default List of Mars "thread" images, some thoughts.

How many times have these "threads" been imaged on Mars? The
discussion seems to be rotating around "Life" and "airbag parts" so
far. Could they be camera artifacts, maybe from soil shifting during
the exposure?

If JPL has time, it would be interesting to see a timed sequence of
one of these threads. Does it flutter, move? Instead of having the
microscope switch filters, just take one picture every
second/10sec/whatever. Make little animations, find out if these
threads blow in the wind or have any other reactions. If the
spectrometers can resolve a sample that small, it could tell whether
it is kevlar or mars-sponge.

If anyone has any links to other thread pictures, please add them.
