In a few months it could be compost, if handled properly. They have to start now, though. But you are right, I am angry. NASA promised us Mars spectra, and they have not yet delivered. The reason they have not yet delivered is that they choose not yet to deliver, and they haven't got the guts to admit they choose not to deliver. They could have built the instruments, built the rover, landed them safely on Mars, taken their spectra, and posted them the next day on the internet, and then said, look, we built these instruments, we delivered them safely to Mars, and took these amazing spectra, what do you think of them, and us? I would have said, "I think you are heroes"! But, they choose to be assholes. I am so disappointed, I am angry. To add injury to insult, they then proceeded to insult me with their pathetic news conferences, for several weeks running now. They can still redeem themselves. All they have to do is post those missing spectra on their website by tomorrow morning, at the earliest. Then I shall retract my statements. Until then, where are those spectra, assholes?
