Take a look at http://lunar.arc.nasa.gov/
See the image in the circle. Does anybody know what area of the moon is this? Why is NASA highlighting using this rather unusual image with no further comments? |

I interpret this logo to mean that LP is intended to give us high-resolution images of what was formerly vague and indistinct regions. If this is the intent of the logo, apparently it is not as obvious as they might have thought. -- Lt.
