Other group contributors need some "toy pacifists" to play with.
The small figures can lock arms and be placed at the front the gates of
their KSC dioramas when launch vehicles carrying RTG's are scheduled
for launch.

I wish I still had my Marx Cape Kennedy playset. Looking at that page
really brought back some memories. I miss my old Major Matt Mason
figures too.

....Who doesn't? Hell, Mattel was mumbling rumors a few years back
about a new line of updated MMM toys, with the figures more of the
solid joint variety and not temporarily bendable. The idea was to make
the line slightly more accurate this time - Shuttle suits instead of
the Gemini ones - with the option to "sci-fi" the line like they did
in '69. The the two other points of interest was that the figures
would be only about 4" tall, and that yes, there would be a Space
Station pretty much like the original one, but in reduced scale.

Sadly, that appears to have died in the planning stages...
