Default ...President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology..... Their Agenda

President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology

The organization follows a tradition of Presidential advisory panels
on science and technology dating back to Presidents Eisenhower
and Truman. http://www.ostp.gov/PCAST/pcast.html

Let's see what they're up to these days!

Meeting Agenda
Tuesday, September 12, 2006

9:00 am Opening remarks of co-chairs

9:10 am Presentation by the Pres of Ceres Corp
Ceres Corporation is an agribusiness
and food industry consulting firm
http://www.ceresgroup.com/

(note, guess what he's pushing, biofuels)
(gee.... lining his own wallet?)

LUNCH (that's right, lunch already)

1:30 pm A presentation on ethics and emerging technology
(note, the irony here is so rich)

2:45 A presentation on networking and information technology
(note....HUH?)

That's it. Next meeting in six months
THANK GOD THEY MEET TWICE A YEAR....EH?

This is just plain embarrassing. I mean, this isn't even worth the
price of the lunch.
