North Korea warns of missile attack

Article from: The Australian

ROGUE state North Korea last night threatened a nuclear missile attack
if trade and financial sanctions are not dropped, but also offered to
return to negotiations about disbanding its atomic weapons program.

The new tactical swerve came a day after Pyongyang defied the world's
major powers by exploding a small nuclear bomb, and almost 12 months
after it boycotted the six-party disarmament talks.

"We hope the situation will be resolved before an unfortunate incident
of us firing a nuclear missile comes," an unnamed North Korean official
told South Korea's Yonhap news agency.

As near as I can figure it, these guys actually _want_ to get nuked.

I can see why. It did Japan a tremendous amount of good, in the long term.

A friend of mine suggested the Mouse That Roared scenario also...you
know what this means, of course?
North Korea has perfected the Hafnium Isomer bomb. One kiloton yield
sound pretty pathetic...UNTIL YOU REALIZE THAT THE BOMB WAS THE SIZE OF
A THIMBLE! :-)

I wonder what the U.S. is going to do the next time North Korea starts
to assemble a Taepodong-2 missile on its launch pad.

I think they should use it for BMD practice.
