------------------- The Canadian Space Society is proud to announce the 2003 Space Summit Featuring Canadian Mars and Micro Satellite Missions. This is an excellent opportunity for all space advocacy groups to combine efforts and resources. Saturday October 4, 2003 Albany Room Holiday Inn Yorkdale 3450 Dufferin St. Toronto, ON The 2003 Space Summit will showcase innovative and uniquely Canadian talent involved in a variety of mission types. Meet some of the movers and shakers of the Canadian space industry who are putting together these exciting projects. Find out how Canadian space advocacy groups are getting involved and what can be done to to make more missions possible. 9:00-9:15:*** Welcome and Introduction from the CSS 9:15-10:00:** Keynote Speaker:** Gregory Bennett, Artemis Society 10:00-10:15:* Break 10:15-10:45:* Phoenix Mars Scout Mission, Eric Choi, MD Robotics 10:45-11:15:* Canadian Microsat Planetary Missions, Henry Spencer, SP Systems 11:15-11:45:* Northern Light Canadian Mars Lander, Dr. Ben Quine, Thoth Technology 11:45-12:00:* Question period for speakers 12:00-1:30:** Lunch 1:30-3:30:*** Space Advocacy Workshop 3:30-4:00:*** Concluding Remarks The morning session will feature several mission specific presentations followed by an afternoon session question period and workshop. All groups and space advocacy organizations are welcome. There will be a display area in the room where information about your organization can be posted. Student groups are especially encouraged to attend. Don't miss this opportunity to network with other imaginative people. There is a $20 registration fee ($30 after September 27) to help the CSS to cover the cost of facilities rental.
