A plastic bag going side by side with the shuttle. It showed a picture
of it,and to me it looks like a used condom . That begs the question "Who throw it out the air hatch?" They claim its a plastic bag Hmmmm IF the bag has Wal-Mart printed on it that could tell us a lot.Still its not nice to litter the space around the Earth NASA can spend $25,000,000 on a toilet I think they should buy a $5,000,000 waste basket. The reason the wastebasket would be so expensive it has to have a lid Bert |

The Hubble was once hit and damaged by a piece of debris, and so was the windshield of the space shuttle. Some large pieces like fuel tanks have made it to the ground in places like Texas, meaning they are a public hazard. How could we hae been such litterbugs? Maybe there should be a $25,000,000 fine on littering in space! If you pack it up, pack it down. Double-A |

Double-A I think I read somewhere that a tiny speck of paint, cruising at 18,000mph, dug a nice pit in the Shuttle's windshield. Seems that low orbit is as littered as the shoulders of our rural roads and highways. Which begs the question: why do people have to be such pigs .... |
