Default Launch Scrubbed for July 1st

CNN just announced that the launch was scrubbed because of weather for
today (July 1, 2006). They reached the 9 minute hold and waited as
long as they could.

CNN's announcemnet, if true, was premature. The launch today was
fomally scrubbed at 1:16 pm . It is better to watch the NASA TV feed
and what NASA has to say then trying to rely on news sources.

I don't have access to NASA TV and I'm on a modem connection to the
internet, with some packet loss during busy periods, so online sources
don't work that well either. Also, are you talking about the July 1st
launch (Saturday), like I was? You posted on July 2nd.

BTW, I'm in the central time zone, so I don't know what your
newsreader listed as the time of my post.
