Just found out from the guy next door ( so called manager) that his sending
off a money order monday for a telescope from HSN, a Meade they no longer
make. So you can blame HIM for the totaly screwed up weather we're having in
S.Calif.

He's also the one that did have a 4.5 reflector on a motorized EQ mount and
after pending about a total of $500 for extras, sold it for $300 one day.

It will not last long, I've been over there to pay rent or find out other
stuff and he almost never leaves the tv on one channel, I thin he'd got a
good case of AAD. That firstscope he had, lasted all of maybe 45 days and he
couldn't be bothered with polar alining of it. This one is the meade 90 x
1000 with goto.

Perhaps he might do some repairs if you offered a trade of astro
lessons? Or, maybe the other way around--offer some help and then later
on, ask for some repairs?

Would he be interested on going to the corner with you?

He's manager in name only, when the now owner took over and moved into
trailer #24 (Doublwide) he took over all repair jobs in the park. The only
thing al does now is do the montly books. And the owner? Is one of those
bible thumbers who belives the planet earth is only 5,000 years old and that
a fossial can be made in only 14 days. need I say any more?

His idea of epairing the roof was to get up there with the bucket of cold
tar that's used inside of swamp coolers and spreading it on the seams.
