Default After the Rain

One nice thing after a good rain storm (besides the leaking roof), is that
right now outside it's clear as crystal.

That happens sometimes but not nearly as much as it should.

It doesn't happen soon enough in many cases! We in New York lost
the Pleiades occultations due to rain and lignering clouds in evening.
It did clear up late at night, near oonset, and today (Sunday) it's
brilliantly clear and cloudless.
NYSkies scheduled a Pleiades watch for last night (Saturday 1
April) following a National Space Society meeting. We watched the
western sky continuously during the meeting and found it stayed cloudy
right until twilight. The Pleiades watch was called off.
