Apologies if this is old news, but the Tom Hanks mini-series is at last
being released on Region 2 DVD - on the twentieth of this month. £44.99,
available for £33.74 on Amazon.

I'd given up hope of this coming out over here - my off-air VHS tapes are
just about worn out!

Strangely enough that popped up today on my Amazon recommendations. Looks
like it has the same stuff as the German version I got a few years back.

(I Still have 2 of the VHS box sets in my cupboard, lol)

Speaking of Amazon recommendations, I'm still trying to figure out this one
that I got a couple of weeks back:

Dear Amazon.co.uk Customer,
We've noticed that customers who have purchased Spacecraft - Apollo 11 - Men
On The Moon have also ordered Hunting My Husband's Killers (DVD ). For this
reason, you might like to know that Hunting My Husband's Killers will be
released on DVD on February 28, 2006. You can pre-order your copy for just
GBP 9.74 ( 25% off the RRP) by following the link below.

DVD Description
Lesley Bilinda is determined to track down the killers of her Rwandan
husband, Charles, who disappeared during the 1994 genocide, in which up to a
million people died.
When she returns to Rwanda, where she lived and worked with the charity
Tearfund, Lesley faces a web of deception and fear, and uncovers unexpected
and unpalatable truths about her husband. Like thousands of other genocide
widows she grapples with the inner turmoil of loss and betrayal, but is also
challenged to forgive those responsible and practically live out her
Christian faith.

This 55-minute film is a powerful and personal insight into a humanitarian
tragedy demonstrating the incredible strength of the human spirit in the
face of evil.
