Default Nova RS Oph observation and spectrum from this morning

At last another chance for a low resolution spectrum this morning

http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...spectra_24.htm

Visually it is a definite red now as H alpha overwhelms the continuum
spectrum

Also shown is the evolution of the spectrum since 18th Feb

Wow, impressive work.

I also checked out the website for the diffraction grating you're
using, and I'm very impressed - especially with the price. It makes me
want to get into webcam spectroscopy too!

Hi Robin - great spectra. Is there evidence of non-Ha emission lines increasing in intensity? Got my first field shot this morning [now clear of trees!] at http://www.cloudynights.com/photopos...ph060302mg.jpg
