Default NOMINATION: Michael Baldwin Bruce, ' Kook of the Month', Febuary 2006

It occurs to me that *this* may the the last opportunity for Bruce to
pick up the coveted KotM
... being directly on the heels of, a possible impeachment.

If so impeached; it would be a shame, if Bruce didn't have a KotM to
go with the rest of his award winning collection for his mantlepiece.

Not sporting, actually ...

Thus, it thus gives me great pleasure to nominate Michael Baldwin Bruce
as ' Kook of the Month', Febuary 2006.

Proof?

IMO, http://tinyurl.com/k69qj in alt.support.autism is a MoCJ, solo
'lassic.

From the FAQ -

"It is important to note the subtle distinction between a net.kook, a
net.cretin, a clueless newbie, troll, or garden-variety @$$hole. The
newbie, one hopes, can acquire a clue on the installment plan even if he
can't afford to buy one for cash; the cretin is merely stupid and/or
irritating; the troll makes a fool out of himself by making a fool out
of you, the @$$hole is, well, simply that. But a TRUE net.kook has a
special fascination derived from his/her/its utter ineffability. Their
behavior is irrational, if not downright weird, but they are seldom
merely boring."

Bruce is an @$$hole who doesn't deserve anything more than a permanent
place in everyone's killfile.

This part of the FAQ is outdated, and is in need of updating, IMO. makes
note to self It is definitely possible (quite common, actually) for
someone to be a kook, and to fit into at least one other category at the
same time.

a few examples (with addition of the "mission-poster" category) -

Onideus Mad Hatter - kook/troll
Sylvia Sullivan - clueless-newbie/kook
Steve "BowTie" Young - kook/troll/cretin
Vito Kuhn - kook/mission-poster/clueless-newbie
Richard M Scoville - kook/mission-poster/cretin

I believe MBB falls into the cretin/troll/kook hybrid category, just like
BowTie. That said, I agree that he is of little or no entertainment
value, which is why he's up for impeachment. He isn't KotM material - not
interesting enough; but I do consider him as a net.kook.

[While I'm here, I'd like to announce a small change in policy.
Nominations/seconds/votes from Formosa'd Usenet posters will no longer be
acknowledged; from this point onwards, they will be ignored. Formosa's
Law should work both ways. (sorry for piggybacking)]

Monaghan, don't underestimate Bruce; not that you have ...
He is much better and more capable person then he comes across as
being.

He won his argument with the Formosa issue You have conceeded that,
here.

Bruce was correct. ...

IMO, it is inappropriate for Formosa'd individuals to make nominations.
On your end, it's nice to see you cutting your own path. You are
growing into the job.

Frankly, you and Bruce are caught up in a game of Silly Buggers.

Where would I put my money? ... This ' game ' is far from over and
the outcome is unclear.

Best O' luck ... I don't envy you or 'The Bruce'.

Cheers,

the Raving Loonie

Could it be that Monaghan's sense of humor is limited?
