Is it just a coincidence that they are broadcasting it at New Moon, so
we can't see it even if it wasn't cloudy? :-)

This was all good stuff, but why-o-why-o-why did we have to wait until AFTER
Capricorn One for the Apollo 11 doc ? Let's hope they repeat it at a more
civilised hour sometime soon. And did I really hear the announcer say Cap
One was a 'drama' documentary or something ?

Indeed! I thought the bit about radio didn't make any concessions to the
target audience!
A most enjoyable evening, especially "The Sky at Night" (Hi, Pete !) I
was amazed by the images, especially Damian Peach's Clavius.
But I think George Darwin would have been startled to hear that the
distance of the Moon was thought to be "fixed for all time". And the
narrator of 'Days That Shook the World' referred to "the dark side of
the Moon" :-)

Oh yes, and I have now had quite enough of Sean Pertwee's voice overs, thank
you very much.
