Got up early this morning to catch my first glimpse of this famous recurrent
Nova and I also managed to find a gap in the clouds to take a spectrum showing an intense H alpha emission line. (Interestingly, visually the star appeared straw coloured rather than red) http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...spectra_24.htm Robin -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Robin Leadbeater 54.75N 3.24W http://www.leadbeaterhome.fsnet.co.uk/astro.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - |

Could be a long wait for the next outburst. I have added a slightly higher resolution one from this morning http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...spectra_24.htm Robin |
