At approx 7.00 this morning (a break in the clouds) I saw a very bright star
approx 30deg West of South and approx 30 deg Elevation. (Location Oswestry, Shropshire) SWMBO thought it might be the planet Venus& sent me here for confirmation. I haven't noticed it before, is it brighter than normal? is it nearer to earth at this time of the year? Regards Donwill |

Venus was in the south east though, following close behind. -- Pete http://www.digitalsky.org.uk |
