Default The Sun on the 24th Jan

Strange glowing ball hovering over Selsey. Filming for the S@N in Sir
Patrick Moore's garden, there were loads of solar telescopes available
to look through, including a rather nice CaK PST hooked up to a Watec.
This telescope delivered a lovely video image showing delicate and
quite fast moving structure. Not much time to concentrate on getting
high magnification results but here's a couple of whole disk images
showing the Sun in white light & H-alpha. The CaK video image was far
more pronounced that the H-alpha version.
