Default A Further Comment About Meade

In my previous post titled "Newbie Telescope Recommendation" I recommended
AGAINST Meades scopes from the 1970s and 80s, and I provided a link to a
closed eBay auction that illustrates the kind of Celestron scope I DO
recommend.

If you look through the photos on the auction page, you'll notice that,
though the scope is a Celestron, most of the accessories are made by Meade.

IMPORTANT NOTE. I do NOT have problem with Meade eyepieces and their other
accessories. I own one of their triplet Barlow lenses, and I also own
several of their giant 2-inch eyepieces. AND I LOVE THEM ALL! When it comes
to eyepieces and optical accessories, Meade makes some VERY nice stuff.
