Considering that the regular 20D body can be had for about £850 _and_ with free stuff it seems like daylight robbery to me (or should that be nightlight robbery lol). Jim |

It might well be a reduction but I struggle with the differential cost between this and the regular body, now available all over the place sub-£850. I understand the premium, but it seems to involve only the removal of the IR filter (for H-alpha enhancement) and the replacement of the mirror with a partially silvered one for short previews on the LCD display. Firmware changes to support same. Is this worth double the money? I guess it's just the lower volumes that keep the price up, and the lack of real alternatives except DIY (probably not the mirror though). Don't know about the Hutech price. Jim |
