Default the insanity has commenced...

Just ordered a Telrad and 9x50 right angle correct image finder. Will
probably pawn the family silverware and stamp collection to begin
building the eyepiece collection, then sell kidney and plasma for the
SCT I'm lusting after. Will probably be living beneath an underpass when
the wife gets fed up with my addiction.

Ugh, online ordering makes this waaaay too easy.

Wait untill you find out that you need to order more accessories to
effectively use the ones you just ordered. Its a never ending cycle

Silverware? You got silverware!? We eat with home-made wooden utensils.

Stamp collection? You got a stamp collection!? The only stamps we got
are /food/ stamps.

Sell the wife.

Living with your 'scope beneath an underpass seems like a great idea --
keeps the 'scope ready for use while protecting it from the elements.

Just rent the wife. There's a reason that profession's been around so
long. ;-)

What? You are using utensils? You can sell home-made wooden utensils
as crafts and use the money toward the next Pentax XW!

Thanks to everyone for lending a sympathetic ear.

No kids, but I do have two dachshunds that bark at my 10" Dob because
they think it's an intruder at night.

And thanks/curses to the person that posted the astromart link.
Astronomy classifieds, yay, now I can file for chapter 11! I'm already
hooked on it -- I can't stand all the garbage you have to sift through
on ebay just to find relevant listings.

I've always thought that Kendrick and the others who sell
dew heaters should also sell electric blankets to keep
you warm when the wife finds out about your latest scope
purchase and makes you sleep in the garage. :-)
