I do have an older - 10 years ? - Vixen LV 6 mm
with a light blue color ring (code equivalent to focal length) and an adhesive label with eyepiece data, 6 mm that is. The data is not painted directly on the rubber, as on todays LVīs. I suspect it for not being a 6 mm, but a 5 mm, as the color code would show it to be on todays LVīs. The difference in magnification is plus 20 percent, and thereby extending beyond the scopeīs teoretical limit and "capacity". The view has always been a little too dull and blurry. Having no possibilty to measure field of view: - anyone has the same blue color ring on the 6 mm (older) LV? If it is surely a 5 mm, I will go for a new 6 mm instead. Pete |
