Default S&T Going to the Dogs

Has anyone noticed the horrible new paper in the October issue of S&T?
Its overly slick glossiness totally lacks the charming, pulpy texture I
was used to from the preceding issue. Bah!

You mean you missed the big flame war over this a few weeks ago? ;-)
Anyhow, as a public service, I'll point out that this paper was
apparently a one time substitution that came about because of some last
minute printing emergency that month.

As a matter of fact, no. I just compared October and September and I don't
notice any difference in style, format, or printed materials whatsoever.

Must only be in your part of the world.
