Default USB2 extension cables for DSI ?

All,

I have the Meade DSI Pro camera and an LX200GPs scope. I would really like
to leave the scope set up in my garden and run everything from inside the
conservatory (this LRGB imaging takes quite a long time.....). Total
distance is around 15m or so....

I have a nice long LX200-PC communication cable, so presume that all I need
is a few active USB2.0 extension cables.

Has anyone done this or similar before and are there any pitfalls I should
know about ?

Many thanks,

alasdair

I''ve tested this to about 13 Meters with the DSI Pro and it works OK

Cheers Chris,

I didn't foresee any problems, but it's nice to know someone else has
succesfully done the same thing....

Thanks Martin,

Everyone seems to make 5m active USB2 extension cables, but no 15m or longer
ones ! I suppose that the spec is 5m between repeaters.....
