Finally it's arrived! \o/

I say finally, the delay was that the thing wasn't in stock and so I had to
wait in a back order list. Still, FedEx delivered it from the US to France
in about two days, so I was quite happy with that.

Holly and I have looked through it at various things which are shiny. I
spied two galaxies -- M51 and one of M71/M27 which was stumbled upon by
chance -- through the 30 times eyepiece. There is currently a 6mm eyepiece
winging its way from Paris for me to make things even bigger.

I am now officially no longer an armchair astronomer, but I'm still quite
lazy/slack at it.

James.

As is customary in men, I am now convinced after a few nights out that my
equipment is woefully inadequate and I want something more substantial. ;-)

It's known in the trade as 'aperture fever' so you might as well swap now for 30" Obsession-that should keep you busy a bit longer although you can't tuck it under your arm as your present devise] ;^)
