Default Elektron versus food on next Progress ?

The next Progress is supposed to be sending up a new Elektron unit. (and I
assume the old one coming down in the MPLM).

This was done with predictions of the shuttle being back in service.

I assume that sending up the Elektron would mean sacrificing other cargo on
the Progress.

Now that The shuttle isn't going to go to the station for a long time, will
this cause a problem if they sacrifice supplies to send Elektron up ?

Or does the MPLM contain enough supplies that it won't be a problem at all for
the next progress to have far fewer supplies so t can haul Elektron up ?

It will be interesting to see how Russia responds to this. They were probably
hoping to finally be able to use Progress to start hauling less important
goodies, but with Shuttle grounded again, those will have to be postponed
indefinitely again because Progress will be dedicated to essentials only with
very little space for goodies.
