Default Great Astronomers - EUREKA!!!

Many years ago i was in Denver, Colorado, and i had a
little spare time to visit the Denver planetarium. At the time
they were running a show based on Isaac Asimov's short
story, "The Last Question". If you ever get a chance to see
this in planetarium format, please DON'T pass it up!

If you have read Asimov's story, then you know it's a good
one. Yet, to see the story acted out, to watch the characters
and to hear the sound effects, all this is absolutely astounding!

Somewhere along the way, this got me to wondering who it
was that invented the planetarium. The first one was quite
small, more of a model. It was the forerunner of all of the
planetariums in the world today. And here is the story of its
inventor, one of the greatest astronomers and mathematicians
who ever walked the planet!...

Thanks to Bert for reminding me of this one!

happy days and...
starry starry nights!

Are you sleeping?
Stars are waiting,
Shining high they wait for you.

Are you looking?
Stars are soaring,
Flashing, twinkling just for you.

Indelibly yours,
