For those interested in listening in on Shuttle Launch Control freqs,
146.94 is rebroadcasting them. Wonderful signal into the south Brevard County area. I have about 25 scanners staying super hot with non-stop comms related to Shuttle, USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft, Military Combat Air Patrol (CAP) aircraft and NORAD Oakgrove, and even a Hurricane Hunter C-130. Hard to log it all. Here's just a small sampling of freqs: USS TR (Bear 27, etc) : 364.075 357.0 261.425 CAP (Tanker 35, with chicks in tow; Pitman F-16s): 252.2 USCG STS-114 ETR Range Clearance, Security (CG 2117, CG 6538, CG 6595, plus Aux Vessels): 156.8 157.075 157.1 157.15 CBP: 164.775 Secure and clear Hurricane Hunter Acft 338.0 (Teal 88 with NAS Key West Base Ops) Cape Canaveral AFS Talk Groups (Shuttle related comms) 13776 1936 336 (Camera alignment, zoom adjustments) 1952 32656 AL STERN Satellite Beach FL (28-11N 80-36W) monitoring Patrick AFB (KCOF) NASA-KSC Shuttle Landing Fac (KX68) Avon Park Bombing Range (KAGR) Cape Canaveral AFS (KXMR) JSTARS E-8 Acft Integration Facility, Melbourne IAP (KMLB) Worldwide Military HF Communications Life Member: Missile, Space and Range Pioneers. http://hometown.aol.com/allanstern/m...age/index.html (My Freqs) http://hometown.aol.com/scanaddict/index.html (My Equipment) |
