Default What one word for Astronomy?

The word is "approximation" Our astronomers measuring both size of
objects, and location of objects is relative to the uncertainty
principle. My thought of posting this came from that site that
told us that the Andromeda galaxy was now twice as large now,as measured
in the past. That begs the questions Has it been inflating,or was our
measuring in the past done with the wrong size measuring stick? I give
my own approximate measurements(like size and age of universe) and get
shot down continually for it. I know its nice to be nice and
that means I don't shot down Google even when I'm sure i'm a lot closer
to reality. Bert
