Hi,

thanks for this information.

Report on recording track on the 15 may 2005.

1- driving on large and cleared roads
2- GPS 12, usually used in that manner, on laptop with Mapsource v6.5 (moving map)
3- "bad coverage" never observed upto now, except in tunnel or similar bad conditions
4- trip's start: 19:44 UTC - trip's end: 21:15 UTC
5- tracking's start: 19:44:51 UTC - tracking's end: 20:07:47 UTC
6- tracking's position: from N48.07689 E0.29866 to N48.05344 E0.17777
7- two sudden cuttings with message "bad coverage"
the first one from 19:47:40 to 19:47:43 UTC
the second one from 19:59:32 to 19:59:59 UTC (I really needed the GPS at this time!!!)
8- a third cutting happenned from 20:15 to 21:00 UTC (roughly)
conditions: autoroute and no tracking

But, not in the times you indicate below...

Is that is possibly due to "geomagnetic storm", as I thought then, before reading your inputs?
