There was a visible display last night, Saturday May 7, 2005 EDT ( May
8 UT), of Northern lights from my observing location. At best a diffuse
glow with occassional arcs within it. Seen from the WNN to the North.
Never reached above 35 degrees altitude. Started around 9:45 PM (1:45
UT) and lasted around 15 minutes. A low arc still present at 11:15 PM
(3:15 UT).
