Default Young Moon

Hi,

I've realized a mosaïc of a 48 hours old Moon, as usual with a Toucam
pro at the prime focus of a C8.
http://images.ciel.free.fr/Eversion/Moon/Moon2d.html
Not really terrific, of course, but some craters are visible

Very nice. It's difficult to capture those thin crescents isn't it?

Here's my own version taking a different approach.....

I disagree with you Norbert... I think that *is* a terrific result!
Such a thin crescent is a nightmare to capture well and you have done
it, with optimum quality! Well done - a very nice result.

Thanks.
To capture is not really a problem, but image processing with such a
picture *is* a nightmare (
